As part of expanding the advanced practice knowledge and understanding, feedback from the advanced practice community, writing to scope out colleagues who wish to share their knowledge and expertise on the subjects below; 

This would be a great opportunity to collaborate and network with various healthcare professionals and direct them to the resources available, even if you have a short, pre-recorded video, presentations can be facilitated on the day, and collate questions and feedback; 

• Deteriorating Patient  
• Airway Management  
• Pain Management  
• Acute Medicine 
• Vascular Access Devices 
• Patient flow: ED versus MIU versus FNC 
• Ethics
• Academic writing/presentations
• Any other topic willing to share

Audience: Trainee and Trained Advanced Practitioners (a mixture of participants, some are at the beginning of their advanced practice journey and others are established within various healthcare settings)

Appointment: Online via Microsoft Teams, I will create an appointment and sent to the National Advanced Practice Leads to disseminate workshop details, usually set aside 1-3 hours, this can be less or split depending on your availability.

Materials: Previous sessions included the creation of PowerPoints, workbooks, scenarios

Learning: Interactive and equitable access (we record the theory session, facilitate discussion, provide quizzes, and feedforward post session)

Newly Created MST National Advanced Practice CPD Channel to access meetings, and resources for equity and parity to educational materials and create a community of learning.  Please contact Lizanne.hamilton-smith@nhs24.scot.nhs.uk to if wish to be added as a member or as this is a free, fluid membership, you can attend or link to your preferred workshop as you require.

Please remember all sessions are recorded and materials available on the Microsoft one drive link at present while in the process of uploading onto TURAs.

We would like you to review your experiences, desires, and wishes for the national advanced practice CPD sessions.  The information collated is anonymous to provide a baseline view of your own honest and open opinions of what you would like to organise, facilitate, or attend CPD sessions.

The survey should no longer than ten minutes to complete, however, please take your time to read the following information carefully and discuss with others as you wish.  You can go back as many times as you wish to complete additional information while the survey is open during your reflection on your expectations, outcomes, and learning with the CPD sessions.  Please ask, if there is anything that is not clear or would like more information.

Results: The survey will be opened after each session and results will be collated to demonstrate how collaboration and coproducing CPD sessions can progress advancing practice together within the healthcare settings.
